<p>So now they think that it&#8217;s just a big house cat. Here&#8217;s a picture, which gives you some idea of the size of this breed:</p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://quatchwatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/asherazq01.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-84" title="asherazq01" src="http://quatchwatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/asherazq01.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="448" /></a></p>

<p>Somewhat disappointing, but that still might look good stuffed and mounted.</p>

This one's pretty close to home (I live in DC, while still-dormant contributor Sleestak lives in Hyattsville, MD)... Apparently, there have been several sightings in College Park of what UMD campus police are calling a "possible cougar."

The Washington City Paper's got the "possible story" <a href="http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/blogs/citydesk/2008/07/31/possible-cougar-sighting-on-umd-campus/" target="_blank" onclick="pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.washingtoncitypaper.com/blogs/citydesk/2008/07/31/possible-cougar-sighting-on-umd-campus/?referer=');">here</a>.
