Yeah. It’s a raccoon.

A new picture (which was actually taken before the previous picture) of that thing on a Long Island beach has turned up, courtesy of Loren Coleman over at Cryptomundo.

Still looks like a dog.

First reported by Gawker, this washed ashore on Long Island earlier this week. Claims of a nearby animal testing facility immediately generated theories about hybrids, genetics and general “things that should not be.”

To me, it looks like a pit bull that lost.
