This story profiles Jersey boys Jeff Heimbuch and Michael Santo Scardillo, who filmed the horror movie “Leeds Point” for less than $3,000 and no crew. The plot revolves around some brutal murders in southern New Jersey and a reporters’ efforts to solve them (and kill the Jersey Devil).
Trailer after the jump.
Having been in the Pine Barrens, I know what lives between Atlantic City and Philadelphia: Thousands of people with only a couple hundred teeth distributed amongst them.
So yeah… It looks fairly low-budget, but if I’m not mistaken, this guy:
Is Brian Anthony Wilson from The Wire, so you can at least hope Omar shows up and kicks some ass.
Heimbuch and Scardillo are shopping the movie around, and hope to get it in theaters in time for Halloween. Check it out if you get the chance.
